South Florida Symphony Orchestra illuminates the works of two trailblazing composers: Florence Price, the first African American female to have a work premiered by a major U.S. orchestra, and Jessie Montgomery, one of today’s most compelling composers. The stage comes alive as virtuoso pianist Awadagin Pratt presents Montgomery’s latest piano concerto alongside another Symphony premiere, Bach’s Keyboard Concerto No. 4.

Cost: Single tickets begin at $15 in Fort Lauderdale and $25 in Miami and Key West.

Jackson Health System - CPR Day

In anticipation of American Heart Month in February, Jackson Health System would like you to join them to learn how you can save a life with CPR. They will be offering 15-minute, hands-only CPR training sessions at 10 locations across Miami-Dade County, with multiple time slots available throughout the morning.

Join Local 10 as we walk for a good cause. We will be raising awareness and funds for the Marfan Foundation. Marfan is a genetic condition that affects the body’s connective tissue. Connective tissue holds all of the organs, cells and tissues together.
